 Foy's Lake Chittagong Bangladesh

F,oy's Lake is a man-made lake in Chittagong, Bangladesh. It was made in 1924 by developing a dam over the stream that descended from the slopes in the northern piece of Chittagong. The reason for making a counterfeit lake was to give water to the inhabitants of railroad province. It was named after Mr Foy who was a Railway specialist and accepted to emerge the venture. Pahartali was essentially a railroad town with workshop, yard and shed. A decent number of railroad representatives live there. By and by, a carriage workshop, diesel workshop, loco shed, research center, stores, electric workshop, school (built up in 1924) are found.

The territory has a place with Railway. Nonetheless, an entertainment mecca, overseen by the Concord gathering, is

found here.[1]
